I have a live rock curing tank that I need to break down and move. It has 24 pods floating in it that I have sorta neglected, they have been lighted on a regular cycle and the water has been kept up. I just stopped trying to keep them all upright and just let them float. They all have nice red actively growing roots but no leaves, I think they will be fine with some TLC.
It will cost me $3.95 to ship them so I'd ask for that. I can put them out priority mail tomorrow. Eight each to the first three to confirm. Or all 24 to the first if only one person interested etc...?
Sound good ? anyone?

Marc

Come up with a clever system to keep them upright. One thing I've wanted to try but haven't gotten around to yet is using a strawberry pint basket, put some LR rubble around the pod and roots and sink it in your sump/refuge.
I use RO water in a misting bottle to rinse of the salt creep and wet them a couple of times a week. Oh and once I tried some under halides ...and cooked them, Florescent seems to be their liking.

Do I sink them of should some of it be sticking out of the water?

mine seem to do best when they are about half in/out

Marco, I also received mine yesterday. They went right into the sump, very happy.

i think you can stick them upright in a piece of styrofoam too, guys, not sure if you've heard of that or found something that works

I'm using gardener's tape.

I stuck them in the tank part of my HOTB overflow. Just a temporary solution, but they get a little light and are in about three inches of water. I hope the flow isn't too much for them, but it's only a temporary fix untill I get the 120 going.
