I have a pygmy angel for sale ($15 obo). He is healthy and a little pig but I have caught him nipping at my colt coral a couple times. A larger tank may be the answer to that problem. He would have to be picked up on a Monday or Wednesday after 6pm. PM me if interested. :o

I am interested. Do you have any pics? How big is it?

He is about 1 inch. I am at work right now and have class after work (hence no pick up on tues or thurs) but I can try posting a picture when I get home tonight after 10:30pm.

Sale pending??
What's the deal with that? I thought I was the first to express interest.

Dual post on dual boards. BRS on RC is still active.

Yeah, but look at the posting times 7:15 vs 7:46. One should check both times if you are posting on both boards. You don't have to post on both boards.

Some people followed her instructions to PM her. I know I did and it was before anyone had posted on either forum from what I can tell. I did not get the angel, so I assume someone indicated interest before me but one thing people should keep in mind is that the seller can sell to whomever they wish. There is no obligation for them to sell to the "first" person to respond -- they're trying to sell something and this forum is here to help them do that...however they deem fit.
My $.02.

The person backed out....so the angel is still for sale. Since I had a complaint of "bad selling practice", the first person to make an appointment to get the fish, is the person I am selling the fish too. Again please PM me if interested. Also, this same post is on the BRS forum. Thanks for your understanding.

Here are two pictures of the angel....I don't have a good camera, so please excuse the quality. He is about an inch long and I have only seen him nip at my colt coral... and the live rock of course.

Alexis, Joe, and other BRS members,
Please accept my humble apologies of being whiny and complaining. Joe is right in stipulating that the seller is entitled to sell to whomever he chooses but the seller should setup the ground rules upfront or go by standard protocols to prevent a chaotic and upsetting experience for both the seller and potential buyers. I thought that I was the first in line to get the fish but apparently I was not. If that was the case please set me straight by pointing out that I was not the first because.... All I wanted was to be treated fairly. The only information I had was that somone else had posted on the other board later than me and the next message was sale pending. :o

Newreefer, first of all, please don't take my last post personally -- I completely understand what you're saying... I guess what I'm trying to do is make a statement about the general concept that the "standard protocol" is to sell to the first responder. Again, this isn't an attack on you by any means -- its just that I've seen a lot of people who share that opinion of "standard protocol" and I am compelled to express my belief that this opinion needs to change.
Sellers shouldn't be expected to accomodate prospective buyers in any way. They shouldn't feel obligated to do anything other than select a buyer and try to make arrangements to deliver whatever they promised to complete the transaction. Prospective buyers should never feel they have any "right" to anything.
You made a reference "All I wanted was to be treated fairly." And that's really my point. That is, in my opinion, a horrificly unfair statement. Saying that means you feel you had some "right" to being selected as the buyer. You never had such a right. If prospective buyers accepted this going into the process then you would never feel like you were potentially "wronged" in the first place.
I don't mean to come down hard on you or anyone in general. This just happens to be something that irks me a bit. I'll talk to the BRS officers about it and see if I can get this issue incorporated into a sticky thread to help clarify the purpose of this forum and what the general "rules" are so hopefully people can alter their expectations.
