Here is an article on an older KDX220. (http://www.motorcycle.com/mo/mcdirt/trailrider/1kdx200.html) They really didn't change anything other than sticker graphics in the last 4 years. This bike I bought as a leftover in 2002 and rode it that summer. It's seen about 5 tanks of gas and is still new. I have not used it since the fall of 2002. Here is a picture from the day I bought it. $2,500 obo

This bike is a torque monster. Here is what 3rd gear will do with no clutch work if you want. :)

Bars tweaked? Any broken levers, plastic, lights, etc...? Got any new pictures? I might be interested...

I'll try to take some pictures tomorrow. It's all original and no tweeks. It has a headlight and a tail light (not a brake light.) I'll try to highlight areas of the most wear in the pictures. I also have riding gear I can offer at a discount as I don't think I'll be using the gear any time soon.

Thanks! I've got a couple of MX bikes ('86 KX125, '95 KX250), and have been thinking of getting a quiet woods bike - I assume it has the stock pipe and muffler/spark arrester?

Sorry, busy weekend. Yes this has the stock pipes and really is the quietest 2 stroke I've ever heard.

A few people have requested more current pictures. I pulled it out of the garage and shot these tonight.

Here is a close up of the worst looking wear. The paint wore off the frame where my left boot come in contact the first day out.

Groove, is a motorcycle licence & insurance required for driving this bike?

No - just need to go somewhere legal to ride it...
In case you're interested, it's been sold - to me! :)
