Just in case anyone was considering one of these and wanted to hear feedback.
I reccently got the very small or smallest model (Jeremy said rated for 30G or so) for my QT tank.
This is not fancy but It works extremely well. I have no complaints at all, it's an excellent skimmer for a great price.
I got the old style which has a slightly different outlet tupe design (Jeremy, correct me if i'm wrong). With my old type, I had trouble with keeping the riser height from slipping after I adjusted it.
I found a super easy fix though, put a plastic hose clamp in the pipe where it sits on the acrylic base. Snug it but don't clamp it really tight, use this as a stop to set the riser height.
Great skimmer, great price (considering it's a pinwheel design) and for a small application I don't think you can buy a better skimmer for any price.
