Guaging interst on 150w HQI ballast

I came home this afternoon to my pendant sitting in my tank. not good. I talked to Jeremy @ CRA, where i bought it, and he said the ballast should be fine. I'm thinking of upgrading to 250w but only if i can sell this ballast. I'm going hopefully tomorrow, so i guess this is just a quick question.

i bought it slightly used, works great. It's a blue wave III 150watt HQI ballast

Wouldn't that ballast run a 250? The link says it will.

I believe it's just referring to the Blue Wave III series (the hqi lineup)

Jeremy offers three double ended sizes like the info says, but it should read the 150w model at the top of the page

the sunlight supply 150w HQI is still for sale...im gonna move up to a 250w ballast

i also have a bare 150w ARO M102 ballast w/ cap and ignitor

Is that a dual ballast and does it still work after that mishap ....

it's a single ballast...

I was told by Jeremy @ CRA that it should be fine, and i believe him. It still powers up fine, i just haven't opened up a new bulb on it. just My bulb was fried. and my pendant is kinda gross...the sockets are corroded now

i only had a peppermint shrimp and about 4 hermits...they're all fine! haven't lost a thing
