I have an AGA (I think) 'Turtle tank', which is the same dimensions as a standard 30 gal but with a portion cutout from one side about halfway up so you can hang a power filter on the side. You could probably use it as a sump and either hang a protein skimmer on the side or plumb the return pump out the side. I also thought it would make an interesting mangrove tank, either salt or brackish, where you could keep some interesting species. In good condition, holds water, asking $20 OBO.
I also have a 20 gal. high tank that has a leak along one of the seams I never bothered to seal-could be fixed in 5 minutes, or you could take it apart and use the glass for whatever. The tank is about 20 years old, but in perfect shape and no scratches. Been used as FW (but never coppered or any meds). $7.00 OBO
