I bought one of these from AA in Salem, I believe it was $70.00. Couldn't be happier with it.

Tempting me to buy another as a spare. Sure as heck I'm bound to drop it and break it.

Randy Holms-Farley just did an article on calibrating refractomers to accurately measure SG and Salinity. I haven't tried it yet. Need to buy a new box of Mortons salt otherwise the wife will have a fit if I use up her supply.

I don't need one (already have one), but I got a great product for free at MACNA from the Salifert guys. It's a little test solution you can use on your refractomer to test it's accuracy. It's so much easier than mixing your own test solution. And it really does work (I tried it as soon as I got home). This is just an FYI for all of you getting your new refractometers....
