Went this morning at 2am. I was appalled at the place. Of all the fish at least 25% were dead. The coral frags and live rock were covered in black and green algae. The freshwater plants were terrible. Edit removed reference to another store

Anyone else ever use them as a wholesale source?

Paying me off won't change the rules, which (you perhaps didn't notice) are clearly stated at the top of this forum. Please read them before comparing me to the Nazis and accusing me of corruption. When you actually read the rules, you might notice how many times the stickies at the top of this forum emphasize that we are moderating this new Vendor Experiences forum very strictly.

We work very hard to make our policies clear, and moderate fairly.

Please make sure you've read the rules before taking out frustrations on the moderators.

Nate

I haven't been there in along time but If a fish can't make it from Conn. to Mass and stay alive then that can't be good :( just my .02

I order from Fishmart on the regular and rarely have a problem. EDIT: Confrontational responses removed. Please stick to first hand accounts of your own experiences. Don't question other peoples experiences. And please lay off the exclaimation marks. Thanks
I have been there several times and almost never find dead fish!!!!
Thank you

Aly, our visit was a well planned one. They had been begging us to come back to them for some time now. We wound up spending half of what we wanted to and are going somewhere else tomm. because of it. They were expecting us so I don't understand why they wouldn't have had been prepared. And what of their corals and rock? They were COVERED in a black algae, obviously not taken care of in quite some time. It was always a pleasure to go there years ago. Now, I'm not too sure. Please don't be offened by my meaningless OPINION. It's just that, an opinion.

Did I mention that we left at 2am? That would put us there by 6am. They do have a 24 hour staff right? So what was with the horrible condition of almost everythingthere?

Please do not attack other peoples experiences. If you have had different experiences you can give examples of those, but refrain from addressing other people's comments or refuting them.
