Got a new flash (Speedlight SB-800) and remote cord for my D-100, took a bunch of shots today, most stink. I have a lot to learn, my even read the manual.

ulead smart saver is what I use and it works real well. I know gumhead uses it too.

Jim great shot, who cares about the background, the subject is great. No flash off the glass. Where did you pick up the flash? I have sort of been looking, but not really seriously.

3mrhythm,

I have only had the crab for a week, no problem so far, should I expect one? I use Photoshop Elements, it has a real neat command "save for web" it even provides a sample of the reduced file.

heavydc2,

I purchased the flash and cord from B&H Photo, I find with Nikon the price is about the same everyplace but mail order from NY no sales tax. I have seen several of your photos, they are very nice, photos like yours are an inspiration keep posting. Do you use a flash often?

I put a crab like that in my frag/fuge. He started to eat everything in sight...softies, mushrooms, zoos...decimated. Into the sump he went

Jim, I never use a flash, which really limits me to what I can take pics of. Most of the pics I take end up dark or blurry. Thanks for the comments, its much appreciated.
