I've bought a number of fish at All Things Fishy, and in general, they have been among the best health of the fish I have bought. The tanks are individually plumbed and have the arrival dates of all the fish in the tank. They don't try and sell fish they haven't had long enough to acclimate and evaluate. Also a good place to look through second hand or blemished equipment to pick up at a good price. The drawback is that it is a small store, and the fish selection is limited.

Great place for fish and supplies. Chuck is very helpfull and not at all pushy.
Coral prices are a little on the high side. Although a small selection of live stock, still well worth a visit.

I think its a great place to buy tanks. The tanks are cheaply priced and they can drill them for you too.
The other drygoods are hit or miss, seems that they buy closeout lots of stuff and just get what they get. One of this, one of that, odd brands, etc. Not the place to go if you are looking for a specific product/brand, but a decent place to sift through stuff to see if there is something you could use.
For freshwater fish, they seem to have a decent assortment but pricey. For saltwater fish the selection is very limited and more pricey.
For corals its a joke. They have 2 tanks full of algae with poor lighting. Any corals or clams I have seen in there are dead or dying.

For livestock, they are over priced. For tanks and stands, you can get a good deal and find odd sizes and shapes. You can get some good deals on dry goods if you know your prices. I got my 7' 210 Oceanic there for an awesome price about 3 years ago. It was a special order that no one picked up and was sitting in a warehouse for some time before he got it.

For what it's worth...Pete is going to be running ATF in Marlboro. Chuck bought into another store "Animal House" in Norton, MA and will rarely be at his Marlboro location.
The clutter at ATF has been reduced some, by the addition of a new site. You may want to call ahead and ask about drygoods and "less than perfect" items before you go as they may have to get them from the other locations.
As for corals... I don't know what it's going to take for these guys to get things going. They do sell the lights right off of their own displays from time to time. My feeling is that the 'consistency' required to keep these vendor displays is just not present. Even with the ginormous skimmer going, they still have major alga blooms.
Also, I don't think, but am not sure, that their systems are ALL separated. I believe that quite a few are still plumbed in together.
Finally, touch the tanks... the water is at like 72 degrees and I know that salinity is very low...even at LFS standards.
Great dry goods place..and I do buy freshwater fish there..but can't afford the prices for marine. Those prices are inflated due to the lack of space, and therefore low quantities per order. He gets no breaks...you get no breaks.

I got my first 4 marine fish from All Things Fishy (2 clowns, firefish and 6-line), 6 months ago. They were all very healthy and active, though looking back they may have been a little expensive. The fish were my first marine fish and are still doing well in a newbie tank.
The fresh water fish were always healthy and long lived.
I have always found them to be friendly and helpful.

i agree live stock is way too pricee for me but if you want a tank great place to get 1 perfect or less than perfect either way he helps you out nice guys down there fish seem healthy some he's had a long time butsome of his fishare pricee for example i bought a purple fire fish for $30.00. all things fishy price 59.99 and the corals are up there too but the live rock isnt too bad but food and equipment tanks stands its worth makin the stop
BTW, Chuck has told me he runs the tanks cool and low salinity to keep the stress off the fish; it's an intentional process. Pete may be running ATF, but you can usually catch Chuck on Sundays. Livestock can be pricey, but everything I've purchased there has been healthy, and done well, and all the gear I've bought there as less-than-perfect or not has been good.
