You can try posting a picture at the RC-anemone forum to find out what species of anemone that is. Usually you need to post a picture of its base as well for ID. How long have you have it? because a lot of sebae anemone is sold with white color which means that they are bleached.

I saw a few like that (atlantic, right?) at a modest little LFS in Wilmington a month or 2 ago.

It might be bleached (lost its ability to get food from light) make sure you feed it well if thats the case.

Armando is right. All bleached sebae anemone that I've seen at LFS still have their blue/purple tip. Like Cindy said make sure you feed it more frequently, if it survives the original color will come back slowly. Good luck.

Here's what I've gathered about white anemones.
Bleaching doesn't refer to really using bleach. Dying really means that the anemone has been soaked in dye to give it a beautifull color long enough for you to buy it. Then over a few months it will turn its natural (usually brown) color or die from the dye. Bleached anemones have lost their anemone equivalent of chlorophyl due to stress and or poor lighting. This chlorophyl stuff (I forget the real name) is always a tan or brown, so any white anemone doesn't have it. The anemony can sometimes be revived by heavy meaty food feeding (like cut up silversides) untill the color returns to its tenticles and base.
