Global Pet - all in one sump

Anyone have experience ordering through Global Pet?

A friend of mine has a new 75g tank and is looking at an all-in-one sump/skimmer for his soon to be reef tank.

My friend is concerned about Global Pet, wonders if anyone knows whether the skimmer will be suitable, and would appreciate any comments.

I know aquamedic has some all in one systems that are pretty good but they cost alot.

I too would be skeptical of these. I wouldn't count on the skimmer for much though..

Are they going to use live rock instead of the bioballs.?

Moe, Why not get a asm-skimmer and have a sump build, or even use a glass tank?
That may cost him a little more but for sure he will have something better !!

He's looking to get started yesterday (unlike me :D ), and wants to go as cheap as possible. I did mention that you could make something similar, but it'd have better quality parts. He didn't bite. :p

The only problem that I can see on this "all in one" type of thing, is the skimmer.
I dont know if it will cut for a 75g tank.
