I've been drooling over some of the stuff on this site for a couple of years, finally put an order in. Free shipping over $150. They have 3 free frags for orders over $210, 4 I think for over 250. Receiving tomorrow and eagerly awaiting.

Yeah, let us know how the corals look.
They pictures on the site seem oversaturated to get the striking color that every reefers look for.

I talked to the guy who runs it and seems like a nice guy. And if your familiar with their website, Monty is apparently an alter ego. There setup does seem 20k or actinict heavy. I'm looking foward to it regardless.

Their customer service is excellent. They even confirmed with Fedex the Fedex location/address when I asked them to ship it to fedex station. Good packaging too.

I received the shipment from RM this morning by fedex without any problems. Packing was 5 star, I mean bullet proof, plus a heat pack. Livestock was in awesome shape, plus the 3 free frags. Lights arent on yet, and they will be partially lit until they're out of QT. Definetly will order from them again.

Does the color of the corals as advertised?

It's hard to tell. I've got everything in QT next to my display, so I don't light my QT. The 3 SPS frags have very nice color and extended polyps within a couple hours, a ricordia rock looks true to color, and a patch of zoos are hard to tell.

The yuma is true to color. The zoanthids are hard tell, but I'm going to play around with lighting. The free frags I got, all SPS, look great.

Actually, last night I noticed that a good sized polyp was missing. On further inspection, I noticed that one small polyp was turning into mucous. Then, later that night it was gone. I think I have to frag it out to try to save it, maybe saving half of the polyps I paid for. I contacted ReeferMadness and told them what was going on. I think they think I'm trying to scam them, but I sent a mucousy polyp pic to hopefully make them think otherwise. It's weird because everything else in the tank is fine, and Ricordia is very easy to keep.

Just an FYI: I ordered 3 wild colonies from RM recently. One coral was not healthy enought to ship, one arrived RTN'd and the last just Rtn'd in my tank last week. I spoke with Chris and it seems the heat is an issue with the corals health so i would advise anyone to hold off until the cooler weather. I did get credited for one colony but not the other so buyer beware.

My order came in on time, and shipped very very well, I am very impressed with thge packaging. Everything looks great, I am aclimating the last of the stuff now. THe only thing that looks like it may not make it is one of the 4 freebies. I asked Chris for zoos or lps instead of sps because I don't keep sps (for the freebies) and he totally was cool about it. I will post some pictures when they have some time to settle in.

Things worked well, no crazy crap from the skies. I got a huge peice of encrusting Montipora, nice, with true color. Total came to about 200, but no free frags:(
