How about a thread with tips on photographing your tank? Is it better to do it in a dark room? or with other light arround? My pics are ok, but I'd like to make them better so let me hear your tips on getting better pics!

i find that my pictures are better at night with no reflection off the glass.

I dont use a flash ... ever

Use a tripod, always use a tripod.

Just keep shooting. The more the merrier, the more you critique your own photos the better they will get.

I also suggest that you simply walk off your tank while looking through the viewfinder. You'd be amazed at how many sweet shots are from angles/views you'd never think of.
