Hitchhiker Crab

I hardly ever see this guy, so I grabbed my camera when he came out to eat today. I think "fuzzy" crabs are supposed to be problems in a reef tank, but he hasn't given me any trouble yet. He blends in pretty well, but you can see his red eye just below the hermit crab....

maybe a gorilla crab

darker than the ones I had.

i got rid of them quick

that thing is evil looking...if you got a fuge i would toss him in there..

Looks a lot like the "teddy bear" crabs in our tanks at home. We've had 2 since they were set up about 4 years ago. Never a problem perfect behavior. If you do a search on out forum On RC you'll find a couple of threads on them.
