It's in Seekonk exit 2 off 195, it's a great place and an easy ride from here. Let me know when you want to go and we can both take a ride.

CRA is my all-time favorite place to go..it's about 35 minutes away, but always well worth the trip! I bought a Ricordia from them a few months back..it's doing awesome!!!!! Price was right, too! :)

Jim, how do you get such good color reproduction? I have been trying to take pics of my green ric with my nikon N60 for weeks now and the pictures with flash and without under my 10K/actinic 03 lighting always come out with the ric looking sort of cream-colored with greenish highlights. Do you use any kind of filter, or are your tank lights just brighter? Even with ISO400 I am forced to use the widest aperature (f4.5) and fairly long shutter speeds (1/30 without flash). The pictures are not really overexposed, since there is good definition of the ricordia, it's just that instead of intense green I get that less dramatic creamy coloring. Just curious.

I also have 10K's with 03's, for that photo the MH's were off. I have been using the Nikon SB-800 flash hand held with a flash cord on my D-100, aperture priority, white balance on auto, ISO 200. I have been pleased with color and attribute it to the off camera flash, I don't take any more tank shots without it. I need to experiment more, but since I got this new flash I never have my MH's on for photos, I like the results, I don't know how the color would look with them on.

Do you use manual focus? My problem is my autofocus never "sees" what I want it to in the tank and often focuses on the glass itself. I broke the manual focus ring off the camera so thats no longer an option :(

For macro shots I always use manual focus, I find it a real PITA to use autofocus for macro.
