And here's one of the Toadstool frag I got at Greg's workshop - he has a long way to go to catch up to his big brother...

Daire,
Very Nice!!
This is his brother, Steve at Cape Maid got in about six of them four or five weeks ago. I have had this one about a month.
I recognize that toothpick, that frag will grow out to be beautiful the polyps will grow much longer than the one from Cape Maid.

Jim, that picture is breathtaking! How long do you think it will take for that little frag to become a good size? I am very excited that it will have even longer polyps than the one from Cape Maid Farms - I think they are so beautiful. It seems to be a darker color than the one I have - will it hold that darker color as it grows?

Daire,
I'll get a picture of my toadstool from Greg later on and the date I put it in my tank, I need to go out for a while. I'll post it on this thread.

Jim, find your closest LFS ask if they will give you credit for xenia. Most will because xenia is a bad shipper. I have a place by me that gives me a good amount of credit for the stuff. I got a big free bubble coral last time I brought in 4 rubble rocks with xenia on it. Not bad getting nice coral for the weeds that grow in our tanks.

Daire,
Not sure about the color, as for the growth rate I got this one from Greg on 2/27/04. I had some water issues that slowed my tank down for a while, this one is about the size of a baseball. It started out looking just like yours, a fortune cookie with a three day beard. I like the long polyps makes a great home for the Clowns.
I have some stuff for you whenever.

Jim - I can't believe how fast that grew!! It's beautiful. The polyps on my one from Cape Maid Farms seem to be extending further and further each day. Did I tell you my Xenia came back to life? But I might take you up on some more if you're looking to get rid of some.
