Some tips after looking at the pics on your website
Use a tripod. If your camera has a self timer, use this as well. This will avoid camera shake.
Shoot at an angle, this should minimize the flash bounce off the glass.
Get closer to the tank. The further away you are the less effective your on camera flash will be.

Hope that helps. I'm sure others will have some tips as well.

ok well I will put in my 2 cents.

Tripod helps a lot.

Exterior lighting also helps, if you notice you can see a light on in one picture, the reflection of a window in another. I try and shoot at night where you wont get any reflecitons from the glass, and there should be enough lighting from the tank to take a pic.

Macro focus. Find it on your camera, it should have it. Macro will let you take pictures closer, because it will focus close enough to take it. This is the biggest thing. 5 MP is great, but if you cant get in close to get a shot its not as effective, IE you can get a better picture of your tank from a 3 mp camera that can focus 1 inch away.

Flash, dont use it unless you HAVE to.

keep shooting, the more you take the better they will get. my first few pics were soso, they got better and better over time. I have taken at least 6k pictures of my tank if not more.

these are just tips I have found to be useful when taking pics. I hope they work for you.
