Just some food for thought....Good deal on Instant Ocean Synthetic Sea Salt. Pet smart has it online for 31.99 for a 160 gallon bucket with free shipping over 50.00! In store will match the price if spending over 50.00. So I bought two for 63.98, not a bad deal at all.

I'm not seeing any free shipping?

Customclimates, I think you got a good deal. According to the website, their is an additional surcharge of $26 for 2 buckets due to it being a heavy item. While the regular shipping is free, the surcharge for heavy items are not. I'll see if I could get away with it too :)

The PetSmart I go to does not pay attention to shipping when doing pricematch. I just walked in with a prinout and walked out with a 160 gallon bucket for $31.99+tax. Score!

unless things have changed recently
the petsmart i go to doesn't have any type of min spending requirement.
i just give them the online price print out and mgr adjusts price.

Second thanks for the info. My local Petsmart sells 160gallon for $49, but I also got it for $31.99 plus tax. This just paid for my annually BRS membership fee :)

Just go to petsmart's website, and print out the page with IO buckets.

Same here, i just got 2 buckets from petsmart 31.99 each. Just mention online price and they will do it. Don't bother to ask at Petco, they told me no online price match, the best they willing to do when i asked was 20% off $60++, which is still above $50.

rookies,

Just a friendly FYI here. For $3 more, you can get a 200 gal mix at Rumsford or Sea Creatures. $3 for an additional 40 gal is not a bargain, it's a steal. :D

At the same time, you are supporting store(s) that support our club.

A win win situation.

No, but while you are there, you can buy some more corals or fishes for your tank. :D some people here will just drive to the stores to check out things.

I guess it's not worth it if you drive a tank.

Hey, I'm driving past there (Rumsford) on Monday, and am going to stop there and stock up.

Anyone in Metrowest who wants me to pick some up for them, LMK.
