Where on criagslist , I can't find it
His site does not impress me at all fwiw
EDIT: And I really do not understand because the site promotes a setup and maint company and then he is selling livestolk. Like small schrooms for $10 a polyp, come on.
Jumanji that may be a start fee be careful and ask questions.

straight up cost i guess...i thought 90 buck was a good deal for a new 46 bow..as long as there are no hidden fees

In order to sell tanks and be competitive there's only a ~10% margin. To give this up and earn a repeat customer, service account or install is quite a worth while investment IMO we used to do it all the time.
I wouldn't look to deeply for the "catch" here it probably is just as straight forward as that.
BTW were you using the 46 bow as an example or are you looking for one? I have a friend with a brand new one that just decided to go bigger and sell his. it's oceanic w/ contrast maple stand and cap.

Any LFS I've been too, that price is almost cheap. The site looks fine, and prices seem pretty decent.

They list that bowfront for 125$ thats more than the 10% off they are saying. I asked for a quote on the 95wave and they said 453$ Pretty good prices though. Especially new.

Are you joking " pretty good " Those are great prices
I guess you guys are right. I guess I just tend to be "suspicious" if I see something that looks to good.

I know having just registered you'll look at this suspiciously, but, for what it's worth I only registered to respond to this having read it. I tend not to post on these things anymore, just read them. So, anyway...
I live in Amherst. I found him on craigslist too and bought an aquapod 24 about 2-3 months ago. I've since stocked it with rock from him (which was obscenely cheap) and a ton of corals. His prices are low because he's just starting up a retail business and has to move a lot of tanks to keep his wholesale deal with the companies and needs to make some money to open a true store. He has 4-5 tanks which he is selling stuff out of (also very cheap). He's a good guy, especially given the crappy stores around here with rude owners. I'm not sure why the Easthampton address is on the website (I guess that's where the maintenance company is out of)- the corals and such are all in West Springfield kind of near the Holyoke mall.
I talked to him about a 210gal. he was almost 100. more than a local shop?
still trying to figure the wheres the deal?

No idea. Maybe he's including something extra like a stand or hood? Maybe his prices are just more wholesale (smaller orders so less discount?). I was there today and I guess he's looking to open a retail storefront by September ish in western mass. It's worth the trip. Obviously his store is small but his prices are great. I'm originally from CT and since I moved up here I really haven't found anything worthwhile. All the stores in the Springfield area are pretty scummy looking and generally overpriced. I asked for a bulk deal from a store in Hadley and literally got laughed at despite spending several hundred dollars there. Not that that kind of thing should be expected, but it's always nice when people work with you instead of expecting you to pay whatever ridiculous price they want just because they're the only store in the area...
