Question on that 30 ton press. Could it be adapted to a log splitter? Would be stationary at my house.

Yes it could be easily adapted you would just need a bottle jack and a wedge. Would be rather slow though. I could help you weld the wedge on. I think youd be better off with one of these though. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=39981
