To dose or not to dose. . .

I am not 100% sure what we should do. We are trying to level off our parameters and started using Randy's two part formula one. Before we dose the params were Ca-425, Alk 7 and Ph-8.0. We calculated the recommended dose to get ca to 450 and alk to 10. We dosed half the dose and then have retested here are the new params: ca- 475, alk-7 and pH-8.2. So I am afraid to dose again as I do not want to raise pH too high should I do another half dose or 1/3? Please help! We are using Elos test kits. Nicole and Steve

use formuar II instead.

By the way, pH= 8.2 is about right.

I just mixed up #1 because the original pH was 8.0. I don't have enough to mix up another batch right now.

You can still use the Calcium part and mix up the Baking soda part.

Then add double the amount of Alk (baking soda) part.

For example, 1 cup of Calcium (Formular I) with 2 cups of Alk (formular II).
