If one acro loses to another.. (touches each other) and loses some outer flesh.... will it come back?

One of my acros was touching my Larry Jackson and the tip turned white.

I would think it's a hit or miss thing. Some will come back and others maybe not.

Happens to me on occasion and they've always come back. I just move it away to a place more stable with good water flow and about the same light level. Provided you have decent water parameters and the coral in in question didn't lose more that it has left, it should start to encrust over the dead part within a few days.

good... it is a nice one... small but nice.

if your tank is healthy in the optimal cond. anything will come back. if it gets infected do an iodine dip. there will be no problem with your burned or white tip stung acro coming back. at least i wouldnt have a problem bringing it back so why would you?
