Anyone have one kicking around in their pile of reef equipment debris that they want to part with ?

I have the controller, just need the temp probe.

Hey Mike,
I'm not sure about up there but our FW Web down here stocks them.
Even if they don't most of their orders come next day.

Mike,

The Ranco controllers can be purchased at FW Web, it might be worth checking to see if they sell replacement probes.

I have a Ranco ETC Single Stage Electronic Temperature Controler #ETC-111000-00G with two probes - One metal and one Plastic.

You can have the whole thing for free... pickup in Chelmsford 8:00am-4:00pm.
PM if intrested or if anyone else is.

Mike,
Out of curiosity... are you replaceing one or adding one?

I've noticed in the wiring diagram you can run up to 4 probes and control by an average temp. Never tried it but always though it might be interesting.

Marc, I'm adding one.

I have been using an Aquanetics Fireplug heater. It's been reliable so far, but I'd like a fallback for when it finally craps out. Aquanetics is out of business.

Mike, I have a dead Ranco controller with temp probe. I have no idea what the problem with the controller is, but you are welcome to attempt to salvage the temp probe from it.
