The general marketplace rules specify that if you are not interested in the item being sold to stay out of the thread. That includes even trying to be helpful because what one person considers helpful another might consider to be decreasing the likelyhood of their sale.
This section (the WTB section) of the marketplace forum though we consider to be quite different. In placing a WTB thread you are opening yourself up to folks posting photos of stuff they might have, and also some giving suggestions of where the thing you are looking for might be obtained. This is a necessary, and very valuable part of this WTB forum, and for that reason will be encouraged. If you do not however want suggestions in your WTB thread, please make that clear in your intial post, and perhaps others will respect it.
