I have a 15 gallon nano with Soft and LPS coral ... I light with a 20" Coralight Powerquad PC. I've had this up for about 1.5 years ... most coral is doing great. However, I've been unable to keep any Blue zoas. I would also like to add a clam. Would T5s be a good upgrade/ If so, how many bulbs over a 15 gallon?

Thanks

Hello? Anyone?

I know there is a T5 discussion going on ... any advice for a 15 nano?

These are better if you have canopy...

Thanks jc9394 ...

But, is it worth my while to upgrade? And if I do, how many bulbs and waht power should be use?

The Aquarium Gallery has a T-5 light on their store-front tank. I beleive it's either a 12 or 15 gal. They have lots of corals in there doing very well.
I have T-5's on my 10-gal SPS tank with 2 clams - it's a great light. No canopy - they come with adjustable feet to mount right on your tank.

I'll be selling mine soon, right after the upgrade to 29-gal with MH's.

You should be fine 2 bulbs. The 24" T5HO only available in 24 watt. I will probably go with T5 if I don't want the shimmer effect of HQI.

Get a 150 MH and never look back.

i second the 150 MH (10 watts per gallon), but you could probally get away with a 70watt also (4.5 watts per gallon)
