I've got this green plant. I don't know if it is good or bad, or really what it is.
It came in on a LR fragment, and it didn't really look very alive. Since the photo was taken, it has double in size, and there is an additional stem growing from the same fragment, that if anything has grown larger than the original.

In the attached photo it is in the foreground, being ignored, because I was trying to get a shot of a small 'shroom.

Anyone ?

I googled the name, saw many different types, it is similiar enough to probably be a sub species. Thanks!

It actually looks like a person, on 2 legs w/1 arm drawn back to the right, and a weird head-dress. Ok, no more shroom licking for me

Is it a monkey?

Yeah, hard to tell, but it looks like Halimeda.
Just a note - they'll uptake your calcium. If your having trouble maintaining Ca levels, you may want to remove this stuff.

I have read about this plant being very calciferous (word?)....
apparently some huge percentage of the sand in the world is composed of the tiny fragments of Halimeda corpses...
