clown fish

hey steve what was the disease u were telling me about the clownfish, becasue the clown i got has a lil on his face now. He is eating and loosing the dominace battle in my tank. He goes in the anemone. Any help

lymphocystis is probably what he was talking about. looks like white pimples? viral, limited (usually not very contagious), common in captive-bred clowns. if the fish is kept in a very well maintained aquarium and is fed exceptional nutrition, they usually kick it off by themselves. being viral, there is no cure that directly targets the disease.
