are these like marco algae>? do you use them in a refugium?? how much for 5 + shipping?? I dont think i can use 10

Yes people use them in the refugium for Nutrient export and even some phosphate uptake. Realistically in most systems they would only be ornamental as in order to be effective you would need large numbers (I think in Calfos first book he suggested something like 1-/ every 2gallons?)
