yeah he is doing great swimming out in the open and going though my live rock the cribs i got are not even going near the hair alge so i am going to come in today and see whart else is there to help b/c now it is just become a probelm i have thre or 4 of my bigger rocks covered in it
Go slowly with adding fish Mikey. Hair algae is a common problem we have all had to deal with the first year to 18 months of out tanks.
Too many fish equals heavier nutrients and heavier bio-load and only compounds the problem.
JMO ...

i think he means to get the turbo snails i mentioned earlier.
you're right too, ray.
less food, less light, higher flow, higher alk, more water changes. the five steps to fixing algae. pop in a couple of turbo snails or a sea hare and you're problem should be toast.

well i was talking to ed and he said a sea hare would work the best and he also said that i am haveing the problem b/c i use tap water

eh, depends on the area you live in... i love my quincy water! nothing in it but high ph--perfect top off!
