WTT: Blueberry Rics

Hi,

I have 3 rics, one on a small 1x2 rock, and 2 on a 2x4 rock. The rics are about 1-1 1/2" size. One of them looks like it's 'cloning itself' (?), it has two mouths so it's possible to frag this one into 2.

I'm looking for some bright green/neon corals, frogspawn, green slimer, hammer. Can bring to June meeting. Reply here or send PM.:)

Green slimer would be great. As far as pics, I just got back from picking up my brothers minolta, unfortunately it's not a digital camera. I'm taking some pictures today so will need to get it developed and hopefully I can post pictures either tomorrow or Friday.

Scott, that is really nice and I'll take it. I don't know very much about those, are they hard to keep? I have 2, 175w MH's. We can do the trade at the meeting if that's OK.

the hydo i have a frag of is from chucksreef's large colony i picked up from him recently. some of it broke in the move.
i assumed that this photo was a shot of it when it was small. i was wrong. this is the one he kept.

When i get a chance i will snap a photo of the actual frag from the colony i have from chuck. my photo won't be nearly as nice but you'll get the idea of what it is.

Thanks Scott but the two pictures you posted are RC logo pictures. If the frag is from the original colony though it must be gorgeous. Can you repost the pictures? If the pics still don't come out not a big deal, I know what I'm getting. ;)

Still looks like you'll get 3 rics instead of 2 on that rock. I've never seen a split like that but I know one of them can be fragged into two.

Has anyone ever heard of a pistol shrimp eating just blueberry rics???
both times I have put one in the tank in a very prominent spot to be seen cause they are gorgeous I wake up in the morning to no sign of them I have seen the second one in the morning but the pistol was sitting on it and I was reluctant to put my hands in thetank to get it then it was gone I swear he eats these rics :(
so if you have 1 left I would love to place it high on my new rockwork LMK

I just think it's better to let people know who's photos are being used, and why (not to mention asking permission of the person who actualy owns photo, and the colony in the photo). I recognized that shot and also knew that the coral is still in Chuck's tank. Personally... as a buyer, I would much rather see a photo of the frag/colony I'm actually getting, rather than the parent colony that is now twice removed, and living in a tank that no longer has anyting to do with the frag/colony I'm getting. But that's just me.

I do think that using other folks' shots is just bad practice that we should all be careful about. It happens all the time on other forums with Tyree shots, Reefer Madness shots, etc.

Dawn, I wish I had more blueberry rics for you but those two frags are all I have. Does the pistol bother the other rics? Never heard of that, really strange.

i completely agree with you. in my "scramble" to pick up some before they were all gone, i used his photo in haste. it was either use one of the actual colony (which i thought i was) or just some photo from the net.
