Jay has been getting ridiculously beautiful and unique clams in. ...to the point that I'm thinking about setting up a dedicated clam tank.

Blue yes and green maybe. The reason I say maybe is, he has what looks like a crocea/maxima hybrid that's blue, green and gold.

He also had a gold teardrop and another that looked like a solid gold with just teardrop fringe.

Just a heads-up, Jay has gold teardrop maxima in the 7" neighborhood. If I had room, it wouldn't be there. :D
