I am going to purchase a case (or 2)....approximately $3 a pound, not including shipping. Unfortunately, price has doubled recently. If you find it cheaper...great.
anybody want in?
only looking for 1 or 2 people to join in.
Thanks

I've gotten up in Salem NH for $1.99 a lb. I don't remember the name of the place but it's right on RT. 28. They didn't have that much but at that price I might be able to get them to order a case that we can share
sounds great. Is there any difference between the picking lime and Kalk sold in LFS?

I have some unused containers of Mrs Wages Pickling lime I am looking to unload, I do not like the way my tank responded to the stuff.. I will have to search for them an confirm how many I have.... I would love to get the stuff to someone who would use it....... possibly at the next meet? Let me know....

I had been using Kalk for a while, read about the pickling lime and decided what the heck, maybe save some money in the expensive hobby... I tried the PL drip and within on week, my xenia and orange cap were not responding well... the cap faded (actually started turning white) and did not extend it's polyps and the xenia were withdrawn and not pulsing..... I did a water change and went back to kalk and the coral slowly returned to normal.........I know others use PL with no problems, not sure what happened in my system but I went back to what worked for me....
