the group buy forum is for just that. group buys. by everyone for anyone. what makes it a group buy? you +1. post away. if you need a hand haggiling the vendor down to a cheaper price, by all means drop me a line. i'll help with whatever i can.


the "tier 3" LFS have the ability to run "monthly group buy specials" here (like the New england reef phosban reactors) but it seems that the only tier 3 around is sea creatures in Prov. RI. and they are impossible to get ahold of via email. maybe littlep could stand in for john down there?

Ok I just got an email fromm the guy and he is still waiting on the crabs but has pleanty of snails. So it looks like we will get them next week. Let me know if that is a problem and I can cancel

I got an email yesterday and he is still waiting on the crabs (1200 of them) I sent him an email and might just get the snails for now (depending on the price) I will post as soon as I hear from him. Everything has been paid for so I am a little pissed about this

I need to get my clean up crew in order by next week. If you want to do snail only that's fine. I will be placing a different order for other items to complete my crew. I just need to know what is happening here before I place my other order.

In short, I'm ok with snail only or canceling the whole order. I just need to know what's happening.

Is this guy in Florida by any chance? I have seen on RC lots of people in florida collect these snails and hermits on the beach and sell them for really cheap like this. they are very plentiful down there. Maybe the tides/weather have not been right or something.

I am not sure where he is from but after 2 weeks I asked for a refund and told him to let me know when he gets everything straightened out and we will try it again
