Sure,
Although my main inventory will be held and ship from our FLA warehouse, I'll be keeping 1000#s or so here for cherry picks and special projects.
That inventory will be here by the end of next week,
regular orders will be shipping starting Monday.

Hey Marc,
Do you have an actual store or do you only do online orders? Was thinking I could save a few bucks by picking it up myself. My parents live on the Plymouth/Bourne line, you anywhere nearby? Shoot me a message.

Sorry no retail store,
If schedules work out though you are welcome to come by for cherry picking.

I would just note here that I tried to purchase some rocks from here and he was very unresponsive and never got back to me even though I asked him for a 50lb box. I get the feeling this is a side side business - so good luck!

You must be the only one to ever have had an issue. Marc has been very responsive in all the dealings I've had and comes highly reccomended.

I have found Marc to be very responsive, my recent order was only for 15# and I recieved e-mails confirming my order and asking for more details of what I would like on a Sunday. His service is second to none. :)

LMAO.. Nice first post.
If you saw Marc's place, or even knew him a little bit, you'd figure out this is no "side job". The hobby, and his place in it, is a time consuming habit for him. Sure, there are times when he may be out of reach, for business or personal reasons, but he's been very accommodating to customers and to BRS as a whole.
I've been "cherry picking" at his facility. It's amazing. It's not a basement hobby. I don't even know how he keeps going with all the work involved.

I can assure you this is far from a "side" business. as a matter of fact it's quite the opposite. I start my day at 5 am and am often responding to email and posts at 9pm.
BTW and FWIW
Thanks for the back up guys
As a matter of fact I do need to apologize for my absence here in the lase week.....
But I hope it'll be worth it, Keep your eyes peeled for

I would still hold shy of claiming "just drop it in" This is intended to cut down cycle time and give you a jump but always test before adding animals.
can you post a $
Not sure what price you are looking for
We have a few specials going right now and more coming as we introduce and celebrate the opening of the new Keys location.
check us out www.marcorocks.com or if you'd like a specific quote let me know.
Mahk!
Key Largo?
You're just looking for an excuse to be in Fl off-Cape in the winter! :p

I've been to Marc's "facility" and conversed with the man for quite awhile. I wish I could say that I liked him and share everyone else's positive sentiment.

Long story but I'll give ya the short version.
"I had a vision"
Mix in 4 or 5 years of "Blood Sweat and Tears"
and then it's today.
Thanks for asking BTW.
and in the also BTW department.
Key Largo is up fully stocked and shipping as of last week.
Right now it's only dry rock but the SW well is in and we're pumping 12000 GPH of gorgeous keys water so stay tuned for some really cool mariculture (zoas, ricoreda, sand, rock... and all sorts of live goodies) :)

oh so you had an idea. then you started making the rock. witch im shore is a secret. then you sold it. starting out of your house or something like that. you should deff make a thread of how this company came to be. i think alot of us would find that interesting.
oh and love you AV

Thanks
Your interest is flattering, I never really considered that anyone would care.
All the rock we sell is natural though.
So no secret recipe
The signature Fiji that was the original and got us on the map is Fiji, then there was Tonga, Aussie, Florida limestone and now Nice Florida (the Key Largo or Deco).
We still do Fiji when available the Florida keys rock is something we always have and there are others coming soon.

It's kind of crazy to think of but yea we have rock all over the world.
A few that come to mind;
1000+ Lbs to Iceland
200# in Cruica
Aussi, Ireland, Mexico, Canada
US air bases in Germany and Japan
(FWIW these guys get their rock free or very cheap. If you are overseas serving It's my privilege to help)
