Joe/Mike,

I got a great Candy Stripe from you guys shortly after you opened. It's doing great... until next week. I'm treating with Interceptor and haven't been able to get the shrimp out of the 75G. He's probably a gonner.

Do you carry them regularly? Once I'm done treating, I really want to get another. My goby would be ripped if I didn't. Actually, I would be too. I love watching the dynamic dou in their lil den(s).

Hey Dave -

There's never a guarantee... but just to let you know, I've done the treatment on my tank twice (3 treatments each time) and my 3 pistols survived just fine. I have 2 candy canes and one bullseye. I hope you are pleasantly surprised the way I and many others have been.

Good luck!

Pistol shrimps are pretty easy to catch.

Do you have a shrimp boat? That's one way to catch shrimp.

My interceptor treatments never bothered shrimps.

A shrimp boat is a great idea! But, I don't know about using them for candy stripe shrimp. Don't they work best for Bubbagump shrimp?

This might not be an option dave, but if you can pick up the rock the shrimp and goby live under, the goby will probably just hover over the now-exposed shrimp, and you can easily scoop them up with a measuring cup.

Thanks all..

Nate... not an option. The rock he is under is fused to two other rocks by a large pocillopora and acropora. I wish all this crap happened before my tank matured. I can't even get your fish trap into my tank without crushing either the pocillipora, a large purple rimmed cap, or my green slimer. Not enough real estate there.

Ah well... finners crossed that he makes it through the Interceptor.
