We are now taking pre-orders for the arrival of the all new Vortech Nano MP10 Prop Pump! The new pump will flow 500gph - 1575gph, and is only 2.5" diameter! This is sure to be one cool little pump for those smaller systems.

That thing is adorable. :) Actually, the motor half is kinda ugly. :D

I was thinking the same thing.

They are sad....not that much smaller then the MP20 and they don't put out a slower flow amount then the MP20. They can't be upgraded to MP40's....I was hoping for a truely NANO Vortech:(.

It'd put out less flow with the foam sleeve on. ;)

They do put out a slower flow. The highest flow is 1596gph compared to 2000gph of the MP20. You can dial it all the way down to 200gph. Read the specs!
I have one on pre-order for my 30 gallon cube.

yeah, the only thing i wish was that they kept it the same size and just used a different driver so it could be upgraded to a mp20 or mp40.

I guess it's cool to make it a bit smaller for a nano tank.. but hell the mp40 and mp20 had really small in tank footprints already.. smaller than any other in tank footprint probably... "nano" pump or not.
