I'd like to have a cookout/horseshoe tourney/ fishgoo/frag swap/whatever party. I have a large kid safe yard with regulation horseshoe pits. People who don't throw shoes should not be intimidated. I personally stink at it, but it's still a lot of fun.
We host a few large parties every year for friends and family. We have a kegerator for cold draught beer and coolers for juice and soft drinks. I was thinking of a pot luck cookout. Everyone could bring something. I will reserve a couple barrels of beer. We charge $5. for a 16oz cup which you can refill as many times as you like. This covers the cost of the beer.
Anyone from the BRS is welcome to come. Feel free to bring your kids. We have a trampoline for supervised jumping and ample space to play wiffle ball.
Post intrest here or send a pm so I can get a head count.
Thinking noon till??? Sure the fire pit will be in use later. Address is 41 Worcester St Grafton Ma 01519.

Been awhile but I remember the first baby routine. Gets easier after the first. We can provide quiet space if that helps.

Count at least 4 from my crew in it looks like we have a clear calender later that afternoon after the teenagers appointment and the little ones soccer game so I will mark it in now!!!!!! probably show around 2 ish as the soccer game is at 1200

Bill, you shouldn't have been standing IN the pit to begin with. That shoe was almost on the stake when it landed...just happened to take a bad bounce. :rolleyes:

This sounds like a blast Bill, David and I are going to try to make it....we might have something planned for the 16th but I guess it's up in the air so if that doesn't pan out, we'll definitely be coming Bill. I work until 3:30 so it would be after that so long as it's not too late. :)

Going to start around noon and go till ???? There will be a newbie class if anybody is interested.

Had a Total Blast at the party. Seeing Pillowfish on the trampoline was worth the price of admission alone :D. Hope your neck is feeling better!

I've discovered that Lagavulin and s'mores make for an interesting combination.

Thanks again Bill and Bridgette, we had a blast. Where else can you mix grilled meat, fire, horseshoes in the dark,:: PAR meters and 'OCD reef talk'.

That MH fixture threw some awful shadows in the pit. :D

I had contemplated having a contest for the stickiest kid, which I think Reese had sewn up until the s'mores came out. I'm still scrubbing it off James.....
