hi jeremyR i have a maristar 250/with t5 looking to replace the 250w 10,000 to 250w- 13,000K. could you tell me what you have in stock please. thanks do you have the t5 blue in stock also thanks. thanks chris

Which 13000k were you looking at? The AB lamp that always used to be sold as a 10k is now the 10000 series, with a 13000k rating on the box. Same lamp. The BLV 10000k is private labeled as the giesemann 13000k. Same lamp. If you look at the tests sanjay has run, the BLV and giesemann marine are identical in every respect. From running both lamps, the BLV made lamps are a touch whiter initially than the AB, but after a couple of months they burn to the same color and you really can't tell them apart visually. If you were looking at a different brand, then there is a wide variance in actual color vs. the 13k rating. I know it's confusing, it would be nice if ratings were accurate and companies would stick to one rather than changing every so often.

Right now, we have the AB lamp, our 10k, and 20k's. I'm currently out of the BLV lamps, should have some in a week or so. We also have t-5s in the german actinic plus and aquamedics ocean blue. I'm out of the "true actinic" t-5 for a week or so.

I recently bought the Giessmann 2x150 w/ t5's fixture off of you. I was just wondering when you would recommend replacing the bulbs.
