The new Vertex Mocean 2000 & 3500 are now available for those of you looking for an oscillating return device. If this product looks somewhat familiar to you it is because these were marketed at one time under the name "Wavy Sea". During that time quality control of the product was somewhat suspect, as well as the integrity of internal components being used. Now that a reputable company such as Vertex has taken over the product, and beefed up the internal components, these are sure to be a hit!

The Mocean's are available in two different flavors. The first model is the Mocean 2000, which will handle up to 2000gph of inline flow. The second, larger model is the Mocean 3500 which will support up to 3500gph of inline flow.

Hi Jeremy,
I've tried searching for how this device works with no success. Maybe it's too new in the market.

Is this similar to a seaswirl in which you attach it to the return outlet and it basically rotate?

You got it. This is very similar to the Seaswirl in how it's plumbed up. The difference here is you have more range of motion, and you can program that range and speed.
