Oh... BTW.. After seeing the pictures what conclusion did you come to about your Heni's? Are the other 2 the bad ones?

I took the other one home :) Don't forget though... they are similiar to linkia, but are different. They are tamaria stria :)

Reef55 . .picky, picky, picky.
Mike - I studied them pretty closely and the one I got from you looks like Heniochus acuminatus, and the other two babies look like Heniochus diphreutes. But the babies are the ones picking at the corals.
I will try taking some pics tonight just to make sure. . .
I love watching them swim around together, but if they hurt my corals . . . they are outahere !
BTW, what ever happened to the she-monster-leaf-wrasse I brought in a few weeks ago?

Reef55 - you made me curious so I googeled Tamaria Stria and found this post on an old forum:

I don't know about the orange but I would bet the purple is a Tamaria Stria ..these are known to eat soft corals . I have one in my sps tank and have no problems. I did have one in my old 55 that ate a whle rock full of Tonga shrooms..Its easy to tell the diff, The T stria has orange\yellow feet, the Linkia has clear feet. Its hard to see in the picture but this one has orange feet"
I don't have any softies in my tank (except toadstool) but you might want to be aware of this . . .

eek... that could be bad news in my tank. Thanks for that, I'll keep a close eye on him.
