Tiny Damselfish May Destroy A Caribbean Reef

Pretty interesting. The funny thing is on the same page there was also a story about the invading lionfish that have started breeding in the Caribbean. They originally came from some that escaped or were released from an aquarium, as lionfish are not a Caribbean species. I was just thinking, perhaps the lionfish will end up taking care of these damsels!

so damsels are as annoying in the ocean as in our little tanks:)
scary to think that reefs could be gone within our childrens life time

yep.... but because of all the reef tanks we could reseed the reefs... would be like a big frag swap... with the sea

Reminds me of how powerful a single mosquito can be when it gets under your netting...
