i built the stand tall 37" in fact 36LX37Tx18W i wanted it to have hight we all know trouble with limited space under tanks. the top of the stand will hold my 20 gallon high. "hopefully show refuigum" and my calcium reactor off to the side.

looking good, you could get some sexy shrimp or some brightly colored hermits, like the halloween and electric blue.
bigpuffer
10-13-2009, 07:27 AM
i do have 2 electric blue crabs already. i did concider the sexy shrimp but don't they feed on just starfish?
jayman10134
10-13-2009, 07:30 AM
no. harlequin shrimp do. sexy shrimp are tiny shrimp that usually live in an anemone.

i had a couple people ask me what i thought about my aqua c ev120. i like it so far. it does out perform my reef devil. but my reef devil has run 1 year straight. here is a pic of y collection cup. i normally run a hose to a container but i took it off and cleaned the cup so i could get an accurate picture. this pic is 24hrs from cup cleaning.

update:
finally got another C02 reactor the one i had intended settng up went to a friend a few weeks ago. i lucked out today thanks to another very kind member. the cheto is growing at record rates i pulled out a freezer bag stuffed the other day and today it is like i never took any out. the refugeium is completely filled with life now pods, bugs, bristle worms, mini snails, mini stars, electric blue crabs etc. i need to install a divider to keep the cheto better contained to one side.

Im confused, how is your fuge plumbed into your display, or is it? Very nice looking setup!

The display tank is on opposite wall of sump. The fuge is right above sump. I have a reduction tee on the return pump plumbing with a 1/2" ball valve. I control flow "about 200gph" to my uv with that. Then from the outlet of the uv to the inlet/lockline you see in the fuge. The fuge just drains directly back into the sump in the return pump chamber. I am gravity feeding the ca reactor from the fuge and draining it into the sump sock to help balance the ph before it hit's the display.

I run the same tank but softy dominted, you did a very nice job on the rockwork. It should look nice in a few years when the sps begin to really fill in.
