naw...i havn't done any mods to it...i tried looking around but, all i found was this filter media called morning glory polyester batting...to put in the overflow part. i tried it and it just didnt want to stay put.

whats great about it is that you can adjust the flow and get the perfect setting....i tried the wave mode and i get alittle wave action but, over all its a great pump
