I am ready for a change in my lighting. My current lights (VHO) get the job done, but I feel LED will give me some more pop in colors (I have mostly LPS with 1 SPS).
I have been looking at a TaoTronics light system (seems good on paper, not sure if it actually is though), but I fear it probably won't work for me.
Most of the LED lights I have seen are the type that hang above the tank from the ceiling or some sort of bar.

The problem with that is I have a nice custom canopy I would like to keep (nicely stained wood with built in fans). Does anyone have a recommendation on LED lights that can be mounted to the inside of my canopy?

Some info:
There is between 7.5 inches between the top of the canopy to the water.
With my sand level accounted for the water is approximately 25-27 inches deep.
