To all my east coast people

Chris
I'm settling in here in California. I've been slowly building a 40 breeder tank and finally have it in my apartment and it's filling with water as I write this. It's been quite a journey. I miss you all and of course my 180 but looking forward to new things going on here. Some of you all might remember Ben Potter (neverlost) he coincidentally lives in a town near me and he has turned me on to the Central Coast Reef keeping group. They are some good people as well. Anyway I hope everyone is doing well!
Here's a few pictures from my new setup.

Sweet build! The 40B is really such a nice tank. Glad to hear you're doing well all that way across the country.

Nice job on the tank. Glad you’re settling in Cali and can’t wait to see what you do with that 40b

Nice start Chris. Glad to see you still want to get your hands salty after switching gears completely.

Arroyo Grande doesnt that translate to Wicked Pissah?

Nice to hear from you! I'm sure your new tank will be just as beautiful as your old one was, maybe even better if that's possible.

Found a used PM cr422 ca reactor. I love Precision Marine. Giving it a little TLC now as I won't need it for a while but it's good I have it. And I was wise enough to bring this beast (Aquarium plants Carbon Doser regulator) from Rhode Island.

Hi again all.
I'm out of the apartment and All set up in my new home!
I will be getting something larger sooner or later but the 40b is still the display tank. I have set up the infrastructure for the new tank. The layout of the house didn't allow to set up a room as a fish room. I live in a place that is sunny and 70 degrees year-round and some people use sheds so I went this route. The tank is plumbed through the exterior wall. I had to drill three holes for two drains and one return. It is insulated and i ran water and power to it.
The power was fun because as I was searching around the Attic to find where to splice into power I found a piece of Romex Wire that was live just laying in the insulation not connected to anything and not in a box. It was a good find because now the house won't burn down. In addition to that it was on an unused circuit. So now my fish room / shed as a dedicated 20
amp circuit
At some point in the near future I will be putting in a bigger tank probably something around a hundred gallons. When I do that this wall will have a built-in look with tank in the middle and bookshelves Etc on the side.
Heres some pictures. The back yard is a work in progress as well don't judge :)
