What’s the benefit of a membership card vs just digital membership?

This was and still is, optional from sponsors.

Don't mean to initiate a distraction in this thread, but wondering if the club leadership could make and maintain a sticky that includes the names of the @sponsors that offer a discount to paid members, and what the discount is that they offer.

I need one too unless there is no reason to have a physical card. If there is no reason and it will save time for those that are doing the work and money for the club I don't really need one

The benefit was that some sponsors offered a % off discount. We'll be reaching out to all of them and see if this is something that they'd like to provide.

I've looked into some sort of digital option and of course without buying some software, installing and configuring it, it doesn't make much sense as it's quite expensive to implement.

With the transition to me being the new treasurer I want to start a thread for anyone missing an actual physical membership card... I'm assuming there probably is a few people on here that don't have one. Please post in here if you don't have a physical membership card and I will do my best to play catch up once I get up and running for membership cards!!!

Please post here in this thread and do no pm me as it will be easier for me to keep it organized in this thread... Please limit posts to saying you need a membership card to keep this thread clean as well
