Friday night tinkering..

As of most weekends after working all week I do not want to go out, rather stay at home and water my plants(love orchids and vine plants). Well anyways im setting up to remove some rock from my tank and top off with water... In the process I found an old 20gllon tank, marineland bio cube pro 30 fbio wheelwith a marineland hot magnum filter. Need less to say I'm setting that up in my basement to make a frag tnk. I'll use live sand and rock from the other tank to get it cycling with ro water and reef crystals salt mix. Just some tinkering and I'll be stocking up the upstairs tank soon!

Awesome! What are using for your orchid lighting? I have always struggled with orchids sadly for various reasons. I would love to get a few orchids or carnivorous plants again. Ever been to Logee's in CT?

Mostly just residual sunlight off a bump out window in the house... The other ones I just use t5s mixed spectrum. I found waterings and temperature are the biggest killers of orchids.... I'll def be taking a majority of them out of the window by the end of the week as the draft will starch them.... And no I have not, what type of place is it? I'm from mid mass so I don't get out of state much
