Picked up a CBS two weeks ago

The very next morning I noticed that it had ejected both it's claws.
I would imagine in the same fashion that Schmally's CBS did.lol
Well,sure enough this morning I noticed he had both his claws and is pranching around like a prize fighter.And over in the corner of the tank was a nice molt.I think it's ironic how the bristle worms that were enjoying his claws for lunch are now running from his new ones at night.

A stressor event often will cause a molt. My CBS is a preener too....

Glad to hear your CBS has its boxing gloves back. I love watching mine chase the fish around the tank. Of course he never gets near them. My CBS seems to molt every 3 or 4 weeks.
