Is the snail actually in the acans mouth? Or just in the tentacles? That's crazy!!! My snails know better than to go in the acansthey just stretch their mouths up into the acans from the sand and steal the mysis...

Just checked....the very tip of the shell is just poking out, somehow this little acan has taken in the whole thing. I keep thinking it will regurgitate, but nothing yet.
I agree on the let nature take its course thing, but I don't want my acan to die!!! I love that acan.
You can see the mouth of the acan now...just about finishing that thing off. Wasn't just in the tentacles, was full on being dined on! I figured the shell might come back out, but we shall see.

As far as I know, it should spit out the shell eventually.
